Duties can vary for this role and require a flexible approach, your main activities include:
- Communicate with customers to build positive relationships.
- Receive and process purchase orders
- Verify orders
- Contact customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
- Maintain and update sales and customer records
- Compiling information for monthly sales reports
- Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments
- Supporting sales and production with other administrative tasks
- Liaise with the production department to ensure timely deliveries
- Contacting customers daily to provide updates on orders and deliveries
- Stay up to date with new products and processes
- Communicate with suppliers to organise deliveries
Key Skills:
- Self-motivated and excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills – including both verbal and written
- A pro-active and flexible approach
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
- Good numerical skills
- A good and dedicated team player
- Hands on experience with CRM or accounts software (desired)
